From the sydney wildlife and aquarium buildings

Here is a giant crab from the aquarium. To give you perspective, its back is about the size of a dinner plate.

Here is a koala with a little'un at the Sydney wildlife world. You can pet the adults during certian times as well as feed kangaroos. I don't know what happened to my kangaroo pictues. I'll have to go back and get more.

This is the opera house from walking around on my first weekend in Sydney.

This was from my first morning in Australia after getting to the city by taxi. This view is from a bridge looking north over what is called darling harbor.

Sorry!

Yes I have been totally negligent of this blog and for that I am sorry. I did forget the password but that is besides the point. Here are some of my first Aussie pictures!

Blog Created!

Hi Guys,

So I just created the blog, I'll be uploading pictures and videos shortly from my home computer. So far I have just been going though an induction process and reading up on their practices here in Australia. I'll get you more in depth information once i start field work next week.

Other than that the people are great and really friendly. The food here is good, however I think I'll be craving In 'n Out very soon as their selection of burgers is dwarfed by ours.

Rhodes, where the office is sits on land that use to belong to chemical factories and the like. The apartment I live in at the moment is situated across a small bay from the office, it is really picturesque. However there are many placards along the water noting the high levels of toxins found in the wildlife and the fish, so no fishing for me! Anyway that's all for now.

Cheers!

Ryan
